GARLIC SCAPES,

POWDER AND SALT

Garlic scapes are the curly, green shoots that emerge from the tops of hardneck garlic plants. These whimsical, spiraling stems are not only visually striking but also a culinary delight, offering a milder, slightly sweet garlic flavor. Often harvested in late spring or early summer, garlic scapes can be used in a variety of dishes, from pestos and stir-fries to soups and salads. Their versatility makes them a favorite among chefs and home cooks alike. Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, garlic scapes can enhance the flavor profile of your meals!

Garlic scapes can be made into garlic scape powder and garlic scape salt. They are unique and flavorful additions to any kitchen pantry. Garlic scape powder is made by dehydrating and grinding garlic scapes, offering a concentrated, shelf-stable option to infuse dishes with its distinctive taste. Garlic scape salt combines salt with finely ground garlic scapes to create a versatile seasoning that can enhance meats, vegetables, and even popcorn. Whether you're a home cook looking to experiment with new flavors or a seasoned chef seeking unique ingredients, these garlic scape products are worth exploring for their culinary potential.
